Incepted in 1981 under the aegis of Srinivas Cashew Products, Sri Srinivas Industries (SSI) has metamorphosed from its nascent origins into an eminent luminary in the cashew industry. The enterprise was the brainchild of Mundkur Vedavyas Prabhu from Bantwal, an extraordinary visionary dedicated to both commercial triumph and the amelioration of employment prospects in rural precincts. His indelible legacy of perseverance and entrepreneurial prowess has been perpetuated by his son, Mundkur Vinayak Prabhu, who has escalated the company to unprecedented zeniths, thereby entrenching SSI’s repute as a paragon in the marketplace.

 

Mundkur Vinayak Prabhu, fortified by the unwavering support of his wife—a quintessential homemaker turned redoubtable entrepreneur—has laid the groundwork for the third generation to commandeer the enterprise. Their progeny, Mundkur Vasudev Prabhu, an alumnus of Canara College Mangalore with a Master’s degree from Canada, and Mundkur Vikram Prabhu, a B.Com graduate who embarked upon the business at the tender age of 18, now steer SSI with the same fervor and dedication.

 

At Sri Srinivas Industries, our raison d’être is to proffer premium quality cashew kernels to both domestic and international clientele, whilst perpetuating our commitment to engendering employment within our local community. This mission, conceived by our venerable founder, is staunchly upheld by his progeny and grandprogeny.
